Be The Momentum's Slapper Boot Camp is an all-inclusive training opportunity for slappers looking to take their game to the next level. This three-hour clinic, led by two of the game's top slapping instructors, offers players the chance to not only hone their mechanical skill set, but also improve their speed and develop their mental decision-making. Expect a high-energy and jam-packed experience that leaves slappers with the confidence to be the game-changers that create momentum for their teams. Each boot camp covers three aspects essential to a slapper's success:

Through drills, tee work and front toss stations, instruction will span various slapping fundamentals. From bunting to soft and hard slaps, players will walk away with an in-depth knowledge of how and when to use the tools in their unique skill set. Low coach-to-player ratios, as well as groups divided by age, allow for highly-individualized instruction.

Proper form and technique are covered to strengthen each player's running game. Agility drills foster a competitive environment that pushes participants to use their full potential as sprinters and maximize their speed. Slapping is fully integrated with a focus on explosive starts, both out of the box and on the base paths.

A slapper's ability to read defenses and play to their strengths leads to chaos on the field. Players are taught how to determine and execute the tools that will most likely lead to success in any given situation. By empowering slappers to think for themselves, each boot camp cultivates the confidence needed to be the momentum.

Emily and Kristin’s enthusiastic teaching style made a strong impact on my daughter. She left feeling confident and with a desire to work on her skills. She immediately came home and wrote down the drills that were taught. I believe she feels better about her ability, which I haven’t seen in her from other camps/clinics she has attended.

Your Slapper Boot Camp and your Defensive Session was everything that you advertised and more. My daughter and her teammates learned a lot about the finer details needed to be successful at the plate; not only using proper bat angles/contact points but the importance of the mental side of slapping (knowing where your runners are and what type of slap hit to use). What stood out to me was your passion for the game and how you both truly want the girls to succeed and be the best teammates that you can be. You both are great role models for our softball girls, and I really enjoyed meeting you both and having the opportunity to host your clinic in my facility.
