The NCAA Softball Rules Committee recently made change having to do with staying in the batter’s box. According to NCAA.com, “The panel approved a rule prohibiting batters from having any part of their foot touch the ground outside the lines of the batter’s box when bat-ball contact is made. If a batter violates this rule, she will be declared out.”
